ATDC RADIO: John Croyle with W9manager, Dr. Yared Alemu with TQI and Hien Ta with QwikCheck

John Croyle started W9manager after collecting W-9 forms and preparing 1099s for 20 years as a corporate controller of several different companies. He determined there had to be a better way! Vendors would send in W-9s that were incomplete, unsigned, with no name, with no TIN, and without the LLC type selected.

In addition, the year would always end with missing W-9 forms regardless of the vendor approval process in place. W-9 forms were also often difficult to find at year-end, as they could be saved in multiple places and under various names. Then the work from the prior year had to be reviewed and a determination made on who should receive a 1099 form in the current year (paper…in the digital age!) And all this had to be handled during January, one of the busiest months of the year! W9manager was started with the mission to eliminate the W-9/1099 madness at year-end for all companies!

Dr. Yared Alemu is a psychologist for 15 years both as a clinician and administrator in variety of settings. He is the founder of TQI, which was founded two and half years ago. He is a thought leader on how digital health, automation and analytics can improve treatment outcomes for mental health patients in the publicly funded mental healthcare.
